Welcome to the Buttercup Restaurant & Tea Room…“Fine New England Dining.”

Established September 27, 2004, the Buttercup Restaurant & Tea Room provides our customers with the finest of dining experiences. We offer Lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., High Tea Tuesday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our Executive Chef, Vernon Mozillo, and Sous-Chef, Steve Myers, both studied at New York’s Culinary Institute of America and have worked in several top kitchens, including those of Disney. Together, they have created a menu of enticing appetizers, soups, salads, entrées and desserts.

Whether seeking the perfect place for an intimate dinner for two, a business luncheon or a club gathering, the Buttercup Restaurant and Tea Room can accommodate you. Our dining area has space for 85+ and our staff can create custom menus for large groups.

Since opening, we have hosted wedding and baby showers, wedding receptions and dinners, birthday parties, corporate dinners, wine tastings, tour groups, churches and more, including such clubs as the Mercedes Club, Red Hat Society and Retired Ministers.

Lunch and dinner reservations are recommended, but not required. However, reservations are required 24 hours before High Tea. You can make your reservations on-line, by phone (865) 934-0010 or by fax (865) 934-0097.

When visiting the Buttercup Restaurant & Tea Room, be sure to set aside a little extra time either before or after eating so you can check out our Cranberry Hollow gift shop, which is located in the same building. There you will find 3500 square feet of shopping with wonderful gifts to warm the heart and home.
